SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE

Below are selected work for prerecorded sketches on Saturday Night Live's Film Unit, created with our amazing team of designers including Leigh McGrath, Keith Endow, Jessie Leo Poole, Dan Blaushild, Mauricio Villa, and Adam Brustein as well as our graphics coordinator Katrina Lee and our photo researcher Koby Garcia.
I could go on and on with a long list of hardworking crew members that made these sketches come to life.

SEASON 50
SNL 50TH RED CARPET

Andrea Purcigliotti and Leigh McGrath lead our team in creating these miniature (but giant) buildings. The structures were made from wood framing and Coroplast to allow light to shine from within on a budget. I sourced stock images of skyscraper windows and stitched together each building (with help from Keith and Jessie). We printed the panels in house on adhesive polypropylene and our scenic Lyvan did a beautiful job applying each piece to its building.
FLAMIN' HOT COMMERCIAL

Bland chip bag design and fiery text treatment that was animated by the team in post.
NEW YORK CITY COUNCIL CAMPAIGN

I recreated New York State Representative Harvey Epstein's campaign signage, putting more emphasis on his full, unfortunate name.
SUSHI GLORY HOLE

A simple text treatment I created under the art direction of Keith Endow.
GOLF TOURNAMENT
I designed some simple lower thirds graphics that our post production team animated and implemented beautifully.

Graphic design for Season 49 of Saturday Night Live's Film Unit, created with our amazing team of designers including Leigh McGrath, Keith Endow, Jessie Leo Poole, and Dan Blaushild.
I'M JUST PETE

Barbie-fied telephone pole poster advertising the deal of a lifetime.
BATTLE OF THE SEXES

Jessie and I tackled the Tennis Hall of Fame graphics which included photo composites, posters, book covers, and written descriptions where I may have gotten a little carried away.

HOME VIDEOS

Custom VHS covers and labels.
ALASKA AIRLINES

Commemorative "I survived Alaska Flight 1282" frame on silver chemetal.
PAPYRUS 2
The beloved seven minute graphic designer's nightmare that got cut for time.

Leigh and I collaborated on Steven Wingding's bulletin board, building from graphics Leigh had made for the original Papyrus sketch.
Adam and I built out Steven's desktop and a google search of the Avatar sequel's crew list.

DUNE POPCORN BUCKET

Our talented art department got their hands on the infamous AMC promotional Dune popcorn bucket before it was released to the public. I had the pleasure of conducting a mini photoshoot with the abomination and photoshopping it into some dishy teen magazine clippings. I also created a collection of high school posters and fliers with help from Katrina.
SHRIMP TOWER

Here, I designed a 19th century gold foil label for a bottle of champagne / projectile weapon.
OLD FRIENDS

Conspiracy theories that sent me into a spiral.
SUBWAY PLATFORM
Just your bread and butter subway signage.
GIANT HORSE
Dan and I created world-building posters and signage that made it into deep, deep background.
SEASON 48
Graphic design for Season 48 of Saturday Night Live's Film Unit, created with our amazing team of designers including Leigh McGrath, Marissa Sher, Keith Endow, Jessie Leo Poole, and Dan Blaushild.
WAFFLE HOUSE

This episode won an Emmy for Outstanding Production Design. I'm incredibly honored to be a part of this team and so proud of the entire art department on this well deserved win.
My small contribution to the sketch were background Waffle House graphics like name tags, menus, and posters.
AMERICAN GIRL MOVIE TRAILER

Photoshopped a shout-out to our key grip, Mort Korn.
